Biography
Mark Sexton is an Australian production designer, storyboard artist and comics creator. He began working as a storyboard artist in Sydney in the mid-1990s and has contributed to numerous feature films, including Dark City (1998), Mission: Impossible II (2000), Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones (2002) and Australia (2008).
Sexton served as production designer on the animated feature Happy Feet (2006), directed by George Miller, for which he also acted as lead storyboard artist. He has maintained a long association with Miller, contributing storyboards to projects including Mad Max: Fury Road (2015). He is also known for storyboard work on Black Panther (2018), Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024) and Thunderbolts* (2025), and has drawn comics for 2000 AD.
