Biography
Marnie Gaede is an ecologist and environmental activist. She appeared as Self - Ecologist in the 2005 documentary Grizzly Man, directed by Werner Herzog, alongside her husband Marc Gaede.
Gaede has served as president of the Fund for Wild Nature since 2002 and as president of Galapagos Conservation Action. She has been involved with the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society since 1989, including as board president, and taught environmental issues at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, from 1993. She is a writer, editor and publisher of books and articles on environmental topics.
