Biography
Marshall Harvey is a film and television editor. He graduated from the film school at the California Institute of the Arts, where he studied under director Alexander MacKendrick. He began his career editing and directing documentaries and early music videos for producer Charles Braverman, and worked on trailers for New World Pictures before moving into feature films.
His feature editing credits include The Sword and the Sorcerer (1982), on which he also served as second-unit director, The 'Burbs (1989), Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood (1996), Small Soldiers (1998), Lake Placid (1999) and Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003). He has collaborated frequently with director Joe Dante and has also edited films for Steve Miner and others, as well as television productions including the A Christmas Prince series.
