Martha Bamattre was a Swiss-born actress. She was born on 19 November 1891 in Bäretswil, Zurich, Switzerland, and died on 12 July 1970 in Glendale, California, USA.
She worked as a stage actress and appeared in numerous films, often in uncredited supporting roles. Her credits include Peter Ibbetson (1935) as Woman at the Paris Museum and An American in Paris (1951) as Mathilde Mattieu.
