Biography

Martin Baugh is a costume designer. He worked on the BBC science fiction series Doctor Who from 1967 to 1968, providing costumes for 45 episodes during the Patrick Troughton era. His designs included those for the Ice Warriors, Yeti and Quarks, and he contributed to the development of the Cybermen costumes.

Baugh designed costumes for The Naked Civil Servant (1975), Rock Follies (1976) and the television film The One and Only Phyllis Dixey (1978), for which he won a Primetime Emmy Award. He later worked on numerous episodes of the series Heartbeat between 1993 and 2000.
