Biography
Martin Bergman is a British writer, producer and director. After graduating from the University of Cambridge in 1979, where he served as president of the Footlights, he worked in production and later collaborated on screenplays with his wife, the American comedian Rita Rudner.
Bergman co-wrote the screenplay for the 1992 film Peter's Friends with Rudner and acted as co-producer. The couple have written several further films, plays and television projects together, with Bergman also directing some of them.
