Biography
Martin Hawkins is a British cinematographer and lighting designer. He began his career in the post room at London Weekend Television before training as a cameraman and working on comedy and drama productions.
He has served as director of photography or lighting designer on numerous British television comedies, including Garth Marenghi's Darkplace (2004), Outnumbered (2007–2024), After Life (2019–2022), Two Doors Down (2022–2023) and Spitting Image (2021). His feature film credits include What We Did on Our Holiday (2014) and Mrs. Brown's Boys D'Movie (2014).
In recognition of his contributions to television, Hawkins received a Royal Television Society Lifetime Achievement Award.
