Biography
Martin Hunter is a film editor. He began his career working as a sound assistant on Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining (1980) and assisted with foreign versions of the film. Kubrick subsequently employed him as editor on Full Metal Jacket (1987), his first feature credit in that role.
Hunter has edited numerous feature films, including Kalifornia (1993), Mortal Kombat (1995), Event Horizon (1997), Soldier (1998), Underworld (2003) and The Chronicles of Riddick (2004). His credits also include The Arrival (1996), Below (2002), Whiteout (2009) and later projects such as Lansky (2021).
