Biography
Martin J. Layton, also credited as Martin Layton or Marty Layton, is a cinematographer and camera operator. He began working in the camera department in the early 1980s on feature films including Repo Man (1984), where he served as first assistant camera.
Layton has worked extensively as a camera operator on television series and films such as Ladder 49 (2004), Rumor Has It... (2005) and multiple episodes of Dexter. Between 2009 and 2011 he was director of photography on eight episodes of the series. He has also received producer credits on short films and television movies.
