Biography
Martin Quinn is a Scottish actor. He grew up in Paisley, Renfrewshire, and trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. His stage work includes the lead role of Oskar in the National Theatre of Scotland production of Let the Right One In, which transferred to the Royal Court Theatre and the West End.
Quinn first appeared on television in Limmy's Show! (2010). His screen credits include Our Ladies (2019), Derry Girls (2022), Annika (2021) and The Lovers (2023). He is best known for portraying Montgomery Scott in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2023–present), the first Scottish actor to play the role; he debuted in the season 2 finale and became a series regular from season 3.
