Biography
Martin Shakar is an American actor known for work in theatre, film and television. Born on 1 January 1940 in Detroit, Michigan, he is a life member of The Actors Studio and has appeared in Broadway and off-Broadway productions.
His film roles include Frank Jr. in Saturday Night Fever (1977), John Freemont in The Children (1980), CIA Agent Peter Adams in Invasion U.S.A. (1985), Mr. Berman in A Price Above Rubies (1998), the Warden in Hell's Kitchen (1998), Mr. Feldman in Uptown Girls (2003) and the Boatyard Owner in Against the Current (2009). On television he has played multiple characters in The Equalizer and Law & Order, as well as Judge Martin Pirsig in L.A. Law (1993) and Gordon Kemp in Unforgettable (2011).
