Biography
Martin West (born Martin Weixelbaum) was an American actor of film and television. He began his career on Broadway in The Andersonville Trial (1959) and made his film debut as the title character in Freckles (1960).
West appeared in numerous films including Harper (1966), Soldier Blue (1970), Family Plot (1976), Assault on Precinct 13 (1976) as Lawson, and Mac and Me (1988) as Wickett. His television work included recurring roles in soap operas such as General Hospital and guest appearances in series including Perry Mason, Bonanza, Matlock and Highway to Heaven. He retired from acting in 1990.
