Biography
Mary Elizabeth McGlynn is an American actress, voice actress, singer and voice director. Born on 16 October 1966 in Newark, New Jersey, she began her career with live-action roles in series including Quantum Leap (1993) and Star Trek: Voyager (1998). She appeared as Pandora in the 1995 episode "Cradle of Hope" of Xena: Warrior Princess.
McGlynn is known for extensive English-language dubbing of anime and animation, with voice roles including Dr Maheswaran in Steven Universe (2013–2019), Governor Pryce in Star Wars Rebels (2014–2018) and Motoko Kusanagi in the Ghost in the Shell series. She has worked as an ADR director on projects including Naruto and has contributed vocals to the Silent Hill video game series and its film adaptation.
She won the 2007 American Anime Award for Best Actress for her work as Motoko Kusanagi. McGlynn was previously married to voice actor Daran Norris and has been married to voice actor Steve Blum since 2017.
