Biography
Mary Laws is an American writer and producer for film and television. She co-wrote the screenplay for the 2016 film The Neon Demon and has contributed episodes to the series Preacher (2016–2018) and Succession (2019). She created and served as showrunner for the 2020 Hulu anthology series Monsterland.
Laws is also a playwright. Her play Blueberry Toast premiered in 2018. She studied playwriting at Yale, where she was taught by Paula Vogel and Sarah Ruhl.
