Biography
Mary Nighy is an English director and former actress. Born in London on 17 July 1984, she is the daughter of actors Bill Nighy and Diana Quick. She graduated from University College London with first-class honours in English and trained as a director at the National Film and Television School, where she was the David Lean Scholar.
Nighy has directed episodes of the television series Silent Witness (2018), Traces (2019–2020), Industry (2020) and Say Nothing (2024). Her feature directorial debut was the film Alice, Darling (2022), which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
