Biography
Maryann Garger is a film producer and production manager. She began her career at Walt Disney Feature Animation on Pocahontas (1995) and spent twenty years at DreamWorks Animation, where she was among the first employees to help build the studio's animation division under Jeffrey Katzenberg. She progressed from production manager on titles including Madagascar (2005) to producer.
Her producing credits include Flushed Away (2006), Astro Boy (2009) and The Lego Ninjago Movie (2017). She served as executive producer on The Tiger's Apprentice (2024). Garger produced the Netflix animated short If Anything Happens I Love You (2020), which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.
She is producing the animated feature Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender (2026). Garger has also produced other shorts and worked as supervising producer on the television series Neighbors from Hell (2010).
