Biography
Masakatsu Takagi is a Japanese composer and musician. Born on 3 October 1979 in Kameoka, Kyoto, he graduated from Kyoto University of Foreign Studies with a degree in English.
He is known for his scores for director Mamoru Hosoda’s animated films Wolf Children (2012), The Boy and the Beast (2015) and Mirai (2018). He also composed the music for the documentary The Kingdom of Dreams and Madness (2013). Takagi has released several solo albums and works as a visual artist.
