Biography
Masane Tsukayama is a Japanese actor, voice actor and narrator. He joined the Seinenza Theater Company in 1964 and has appeared in numerous stage productions, including works directed by Yukio Ninagawa that toured to London.
He is known for voice roles including The Man with the Scar in Millennium Actress (2002), Dr. Edward 'Eddy' Steam in Steamboy (2004), Karl Haushofer in Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa (2005), Zouken Matou in the Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel films (2017–2020), Nurarihyon in GANTZ:O (2016) and Gol D. Roger in One Piece: Stampede (2019). He has also dubbed several Hollywood actors and won the Merit Award at the 15th Seiyu Awards in 2021.
His wife is opera singer Echiko Narita.
