Biography
Mason McCulley is an American actor, producer and writer. A native of Birmingham, Alabama, he moved to California in 2002 to study theatre at Pepperdine University, from which he graduated in 2005.
He is best known for his recurring role as Ken in the HBO series Insecure (2016–2018). Other television credits include Grey's Anatomy (2011), Westworld (2016), Young Sheldon (2021) and The Pitt (2025). McCulley has also written and performed the one-man show Carole Cook Died for My Sins.
From 2008 to 2021 he served as industry liaison for the theatre programme at Pepperdine University, curating a master class series.
