Biography
Mathias Mlekuz is a French actor, director and screenwriter. He was born on 1 November 1966 in Lens, Pas-de-Calais, France, and is of Slovenian descent. He studied theatre in Lille and joined the Campagnol troupe at the age of 18, which took him to Paris.
He began appearing in films in the late 1990s, with early roles in works by Michel Deville and Léos Carax. His film credits include The Quiet American (2002), Demonlover (2002), The Tiger Brigades (2006), Persepolis (2007) as Walla (voice), and Love Me No More (2008). On television he has appeared in series such as Nicolas Le Floch and Missions. He has also directed and written films including Mine de rien (2020) and Ride Away (2024).
