Biography
Mathilde Van de Moortel is a French film editor. She trained in audiovisual editing at the Lycée Jean Rostand in Roubaix and worked as an assistant editor from around 2008 before becoming an independent editor in 2012.
She is best known for editing Mustang (2015), for which she received the César Award for Best Editing in 2016. Her other credits include Full Time (2021), Cuties (2020), Kings (2017), Sympathy for the Devil (2019) and Something in the Air (2012). She won a second César for editing Full Time in 2023.
