Biography
Matt Bowen is a composer working in film and television. He has contributed to the music department on the Amazon series The Boys since 2019, initially as additional music composer and score producer, later serving as co-composer on episodes of season three and beyond. He has composed for the spin-off series Gen V (2023) and for feature films including The Binge (2020), It's a Wonderful Binge (2022) and Summer of 69 (2025).
A classically trained violinist, Bowen performed with the San Diego Youth Symphony before moving to Los Angeles to work as a record producer and engineer. He later transitioned to scoring, frequently collaborating with composer Christopher Lennertz on projects such as The Boys and earlier films including Bad Moms (2016). He maintains a personal website detailing his credits.
