Biography
Matt Flynn is a production designer and art director working primarily in American television. He served as art director on the first season of the NBC series The Good Place (2016–2017) and as production designer on its second season (2017–2018).
Earlier credits include art director on seasons 2–7 of The Office (2005–2011) and production designer on seasons 8–9 (2011–2013), as well as work on Superstore and Just Shoot Me!. He has a background in theatre design, having worked as resident set designer at the Contra Costa Civic Theatre in California for ten years across more than fifty productions.
Flynn holds a Master of Arts degree in scenic design from UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts in architecture from California College of the Arts. He was born in Berkeley, California.
