Biography
Matt Hyland is a production designer and art director. He began his career in Detroit working in photography, documentary and commercial production before moving to Chicago to work in film and television.
Hyland has production design credits on Intrusion (2021), Rounding (2022), Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma (2026) and Trash Mountain (2026). He has worked as art director on Werewolves Within (2021), Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019) and episodes of Reservation Dogs. In 2024 he shared an Art Directors Guild Award for Reservation Dogs with frequent collaborator Brandon Tonner-Connolly, with whom he also co-designed Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma.
