Biography
Matt Marshall is an American television writer. He worked as a writers' assistant on The Simpsons from 2004, typing scripts and jokes in the writers' room. He received his first writing credit on the series for the 2009 episode 'In the Name of the Grandfather'.
Marshall later wrote episodes of The Last Man on Earth (2015–2018), serving also as story editor and executive story editor. His other credits include writing for Clone High (2023) and Everybody Still Hates Chris (2024). He grew up in Racine and Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh before moving to Los Angeles.
