Biography
Matt McElaney is an American television writer. Born on 18 March 1987 in Hingham, Massachusetts, he began working in the industry as a production assistant on the animated series Family Guy from 2013 to 2014. He subsequently served as a writers' assistant and assistant to producer Steve Callaghan on the programme from 2014 to 2021.
McElaney received his first writing credits on Family Guy in 2019. He has since contributed to numerous episodes as a writer, staff writer, story editor and executive story editor. He has also provided assorted voices for the series.
His other writing credits include an episode of TMI Hollywood (2013) and four episodes of Role Players (2020).
