Biography
Matt Noonan is a New Zealand producer and the founder of Curious Film, established in 1999. He began his career at the age of 17 as an assistant editor on Peter Jackson's Bad Taste (1987).
Noonan has produced or executive-produced several features, including Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016), Fantail (2013), Only Cloud Knows (2019) and Turbo Kid (2015). He has also worked as line producer on The Royal Treatment (2022) and Don't Make Me Go (2022). His productions have screened at festivals including Sundance, Cannes and SXSW, and Hunt for the Wilderpeople won Best Film at the 2017 Rialto Channel New Zealand Film Awards.
