Biography
Matt O'Brien is a television writer and producer. He worked on Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2014–2015) as a writer, story editor and executive story editor.
He has had a long association with programmes starring Conan O'Brien, serving as head writer and writer on the talk show Conan (2010–2020) and as a writer on Conan O'Brien Must Go (2024). Since 2024 he has been a writer on The Daily Show. He has also written material for The Oscars television specials.
O'Brien has received one Primetime Emmy Award and over twenty nominations in total.
