Biography
Matthew Amador is an American actor. He appeared as Slightly Older Man in the 2024 series Dark Matter and as Tim in the 2021 miniseries Station Eleven. His other screen credits include the role of Man #2 in The Red Line (2019) and Kal Branson in the short film A Real One (2023).
Amador trained at Northwestern University, where he earned a BS in Speech with a Musical Theatre Certificate. He has performed in Chicago theatre, including a Joseph Jefferson Award nomination for Actor in a Revue for The Water Coolers, An Office Musical in 2006. He has also worked in casting, including as casting associate on Uncle John (2015).
Alongside acting, Amador is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with a practice in Chicago.
