Biography

Matthew Nastuk is an American animation director. Born on 13 October 1964 in Los Angeles, California, he began working on The Simpsons in the early 1990s in roles including character layout artist, storyboard artist and assistant director before making his directorial debut on the series in season 10.

He has since directed dozens of episodes, including "D'oh-in' in the Wind", "Barting Over", "Homerazzi", "Midnight Towboy", "The Debarted", "Gone Abie Gone", "Hardly Kirk-ing", "Brick Like Me", "Simprovised", "Moho House", "Diary Queen", "One Angry Lisa", "Seperance" and "Extreme Makeover: Homer Edition". Nastuk also directed the animated short Ghost of Stephen Foster (2000) and worked on Swamp Thing (1990).

His work on The Simpsons has earned Primetime Emmy nominations and an Annie Award.
