Biography
Matthew Rauch is an American actor. He was born on 4 October 1980 in New York City and studied at Princeton University before completing an MFA at the American Repertory Theater at Harvard University.
Rauch is known for portraying Clay Burton across all four seasons of the series Banshee (2013–2016), becoming a series regular for the final season. His other screen credits include the films The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), Premium Rush (2012) and No Reservations (2007), and television appearances in The Terminal List (2022), Partner Track (2022) and recurring roles in Blue Bloods. He has also written and directed episodes of the web series Banshee Origins (2016) and worked extensively in theatre, including Broadway productions of The Merchant of Venice and Prelude to a Kiss.
