Biography
Matt Salsberg, also credited as Matthew Salsberg, is a Canadian television writer and producer. Born in Montreal, Quebec, he graduated from Concordia University with a BA in urban studies before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in screenwriting.
Salsberg began writing for series including Big Wolf on Campus (2000–2002) and contributed to Entourage and The War at Home. He joined the writing staff of Weeds (2005) from its first season, rising through the ranks to become an executive producer by the later seasons of the eight-year Showtime series. He later worked as a consulting producer on Kidding (2020).
In addition to his television work, Salsberg has had success as a professional poker player, including a World Poker Tour title in 2012.
