Biography
Matthieu Delaporte, also credited as Mathieu Delaporte, is a French screenwriter, director and producer born on 2 September 1971 in Paris. He has worked extensively in collaboration with Alexandre de La Patellière since the mid-2000s on feature films, plays and television projects.
Delaporte studied history and political science before making short films and writing for Canal+ programmes in the late 1990s. With de La Patellière he co-wrote and co-directed What's in a Name? (2012) and The Count of Monte Cristo (2024), and co-wrote the screenplays for 22 Bullets (2010), The Three Musketeers: D'Artagnan (2023) and The Three Musketeers: Milady (2023). He has also directed solo features including The Jungle (2006) and Nobody from Nowhere (2014).
