Biography
Maude Allen (also credited as Maude Pierce Allen and Maude Allen Giannone) was an American character actress. She was born on 30 November 1887 in Middleborough, Massachusetts, and died on 24 April 1960 in Los Angeles, California.
Allen appeared in numerous Hollywood films, often in uncredited or minor roles, from the late 1920s to the early 1940s. She is noted for parts in The Smiling Lieutenant (1931), Show Boat (1936), The Women (1939) and Adventures of Red Ryder (1940).
