Biography
Maude Davey is an Australian actress, director and screenwriter. Born in Perth in 1963, she has a twin sister Annie who is also an actress. The family moved to Melbourne, where Davey trained at the Victorian College of the Arts, graduating in 1985.
She has worked extensively in Australian theatre since the 1980s, as well as in film and television. Her screen credits include Noise (2007), The Dry (2020), The Newsreader (2021) and Evil Dead Burn (2026), in which she plays Polly.
