Biography
Maura Corey is a television and film editor. She edited five episodes of the Netflix series Nobody Wants This (2024), including the pilot.
She received an MFA in film from Columbia College Chicago. Corey began her career as an assistant editor in commercials before moving into long-form work, drawing on her background in improv comedy. She is based in Los Angeles and is a member of the American Cinema Editors.
Corey has edited episodes of series including Gen V (2023–2025), Kevin Can Fk Himself (2021–2022), Acapulco (2021–2024), Teachers (2016–2018) and Key & Peele. She has received three Emmy nominations for editing Academy Awards telecasts and an Eddie nomination for Nobody Wants This.
