Biography
Maury Sterling, also credited as Charles Maury Wallace Sterling, is an American actor. He was born on 1 September 1971 in Mill Valley, California, and began acting in theatre productions at the age of seven. He graduated from San Francisco University High School and from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he studied in the Theatre Department. After graduation, he co-founded the nonprofit Buffalo Nights Theater Company.
Sterling is known for his recurring role as Max Piotrowski in the series Homeland (2011–2020). Other credits include Lester Tremor in Smokin' Aces (2006), Kevin in Coherence (2014), Gammons in The A-Team (2010), and voice roles in Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011) and Batman: The Killing Joke (2016). He has made numerous guest appearances in television series such as Criminal Minds, The Rookie, Charmed and Outbreak (1995).
