Biography
Max Cohn is an American writer and director. He wrote the season 31 episode 'Gorillas on the Mast' of the animated series The Simpsons, which first aired in 2019.
Cohn co-wrote and directed the short film Proof of Concept, which premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival and was acquired by The New Yorker. He has also written and directed episodes of the 2025 series Ad World. He contributes humour pieces to The New Yorker and McSweeney's Internet Tendency, and graduated from Oberlin College in 2014.
