Biography
Maxon Crumb is an American artist and actor. Born on 28 March 1945 in Albert Lea, Minnesota, he is the younger brother of underground cartoonist Robert Crumb and Charles Crumb, and the uncle of Sophie Crumb.
He appeared as himself in the 1995 documentary Crumb, directed by Terry Zwigoff, which examines the life and family of his brother Robert.
Crumb's work as a painter, drawer and writer has appeared in publications including Weirdo, Liquidator, Maxon's Poe (1997) and Crumb Family Comics (1998). His first published novel, HardCore Mother (2000), followed in 2001.
