Biography
May Craig (1889–1972) was an Irish actress. Born in Dublin, she joined the Abbey Theatre in 1916 and appeared in many stage productions over the following decades, including roles in plays by Shaw, Boyle, Murray and O'Casey.
Her screen work began in the 1950s. She played the Fishwoman with basket at station in The Quiet Man (1952), Mrs Clotworthy in Boyd's Shop (1960), the Tinker's Mother in Johnny Nobody (1961) and the Aunt in Girl with Green Eyes (1964). She was married to Vincent Power-Fardy.
