Biography
Maya Haffar is a French writer and former producer. Born in 1980, she studied political science in Paris and cinema in Philadelphia. She began her career in production management on short films and documentaries, later producing several shorts and the feature A World Without Women (2012) directed by Guillaume Brac.
In 2012 she attended the scriptwriting workshop at La Fémis. She has since worked as a screenwriter on the television series In Treatment (2022) and as script consultant on the feature Planet B (2024). She also directed and co-wrote the short film Peau-rouge (2017).
