Biography
Mayo Nozaki is a Japanese animator, episode director and technical director. She studied at the faculty of arts of Nihon University in Tokyo after attending Konodai Girls' School.
Nozaki began working in anime production in 2014. She has directed episodes of Tsukigakirei (2017), Somali and the Forest Spirit (2020), Cannon Busters (2019) and Stars Align (2019, as assistant episode director). She also directed an episode of Haikyu!! (2020) and served as unit director on the film Detective Conan: The Million-Dollar Pentagram (2024).
Her other credits include episode direction and storyboarding on series such as Detective Conan, Rokudou no Onna-tachi (2023) and the Frieren: Beyond Journey's End mini-anime (2023).
