Biography
Mel Page is an Australian costume designer and set designer working in film, theatre and opera. She has designed costumes for the film Elsinore (2026), directed by Simon Stone, and served as assistant costume designer on The Dig (2021).
Page frequently collaborates with director Simon Stone on stage productions including Phaedra at the National Theatre, The Lady from the Sea at the Bridge Theatre, and several operas such as Innocence at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence and the Metropolitan Opera. Her other film credits include costume design on the shorts Cactus (2025) and Baby Baby (2014).
She has received the George Fairfax Memorial Award (2016) and the Premio Abbiati Award for Set & Costume Design.
