Biography
Melanie Allen is a British production designer working in film and television. She trained in interior design and has credits spanning drama, comedy and period pieces.
Her work includes the BBC miniseries Three Girls (2017), Save Me (2018), Wanderlust (2018) and Anatomy of a Scandal (2022) for Netflix; the BBC series Whitechapel (2009) and Miss Austen Regrets (2008); and the feature films The Theory of Flight (1998) and Bullet Boy (2004). Later projects encompass Extraordinary (2022–2024) for Disney+ and the upcoming Tommy & Tuppence (2026).
Several of her productions have received BAFTA and RTS recognition, including wins for Three Girls and Save Me.
