Biography
Mélanie Thierry is a French actress. She was born on 17 July 1981 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Yvelines, France.
She began her career as a model before moving into acting with roles in French productions. At age 17 she appeared in the English-language film The Legend of 1900 (1998). She later featured in the BBC series Charles II: The Power and the Passion (2003) as Louise de Kérouaille. Her Hollywood debut came in Babylon A.D. (2008) as Aurora.
Thierry is known for roles in The Princess of Montpensier (2010), The Zero Theorem (2013), See You Up There (2017) and Da 5 Bloods (2020) as Hedy Bouvier. She has received César Award nominations and served as president of the Camera d'Or jury at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival.
