Biography
Melissa Bubnic is a London-based Australian screenwriter and playwright. She holds a Masters in Writing for Performance from Goldsmiths, University of London.
She has written episodes of the television series Shameless (2013), Hollyoaks (2014–2015), Crackanory (2014–2015), Delicious (2019), Wild Bill (2019), A Town Called Malice (2023), Stags (2024) and Nautilus (2024), and contributed to Young Sherlock (2026). Her feature film screenplay And Mrs was released in 2024. Her plays include Beached, which won the 2010 Patrick White Award, and Boys Will Be Boys, which premiered at the Sydney Theatre Company and was later produced at the Bush Theatre in London.
