Biography
Melissa Good is an American writer. She began writing Xena: Warrior Princess fanfiction in 1997 and became one of the most influential authors in the fandom, known particularly for her long-running series featuring the characters Dar Roberts and Kerry Stuart.
In 2000 she was invited to write for the television series itself, becoming the first prominent fanfiction author to do so. She contributed two episodes to the sixth season: "Coming Home", which aired as the season premiere, and "Legacy".
Good has also published numerous novels in the Dar and Kerry series, several of which originated as online fiction. By profession she works as a network engineer.
