Biography
Melissa Iqbal is a British science fiction writer. She graduated from the National Film and Television School and previously worked in production on shorts and features.
Her television credits include an episode of Humans (2018) and six episodes of The Nevers (2021), on which she also served as executive story editor and producer. She wrote and executive produced the FX series Never Let Me Go (2023). In 2014 she won an Academy Nicholl Fellowship for her screenplay The Death Engine, and in 2016 she was named a Screen Daily Star of Tomorrow.
