Melissa Navia is an American actress. She was born on 24 August 1984 in New York City.
Navia is best known for playing Lieutenant Erica Ortegas, helmsman of the USS Enterprise, in the Paramount+ series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2022–present). She has also appeared in guest or recurring roles in series including Billions (2017) as Elena Gabriel, Dietland (2018) as Moana, Bull (2022) as Tidal, and New Amsterdam (2021) as Eva Schafer.
In 2013 Navia won the Best Actress award at the Wild Rose Independent Film Festival for her role as Dawn in the film The Paragon Cortex.
