Biography
Melissa Remenarich-Aperlo is a film and television editor. She began her career in the editorial department, working as an assistant editor and first assistant editor on features including One Eight Seven (1997), American Pie 2 (2001), Dawn of the Dead (2004), 300 (2007), Watchmen (2009), Sucker Punch (2011), Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014) and War for the Planet of the Apes (2017).
She has since taken on lead editing roles, including The Last Summer (2019), Crush (2022) and the forthcoming The Last Photograph (2026). Her television credits as editor include episodes of Home Before Dark (2020–2021) and The Game (2022–2023). She has also contributed additional editing to Crazy Rich Asians (2018).
Remenarich-Aperlo has been married to Peter Aperlo since 2001.
